FLEXIWALL MP 96B Movable Partition
Sound Transmission Class (STC): 38 – 42
The FLEXIWALL MP 96B allows for easy manual operation, thanks to its flat panels. Each panel features retractable seals at the top and bottom, which ensure enhanced stability. Additionally, jack-type mechanisms firmly secure the panels to the floor and ceiling. With a thickness of 96 mm and a width of up to 1215 mm, these panels are designed for effective sound control. Furthermore, the welded steel frame supports the panels, which are covered by two 15 mm thick particle boards. Inside, 60 kg/m³ Rockwool insulation significantly boosts soundproofing capabilities.
To operate the partition, you can easily use the moving nose element, which extends up to 125 mm, with a socket handle. This feature ensures efficient adjustments and smooth opening or closing of the partition. After use, you can quickly stack the panels for convenient storage. Notably, the FLEXIWALL MP 96B is available in a bare particle board finish, allowing customization to fit specific design needs.
Each panel weighs about 34 kg/m², depending on the size.
Vertical Seals
The vertical seals use natural anodized aluminum tongue-and-groove elements, which fit tightly together. When you close the panels, the aluminum frame remains hidden, offering a sleek and seamless appearance.
Horizontal Seals
At the top and bottom, black anodized aluminum channels hold PVC seals that provide up to 35 mm of deflection. Meanwhile, spring-loaded telescopic arms adjust for movement, ensuring that the panels stay stable and function as a solid unit when fully expanded.
Suspension System
The suspension system utilizes either aluminum or cold-rolled steel tracks. A single or double-wheel trolley glides smoothly along the tracks. Additionally, adjustable steel hanger brackets offer strong support by connecting directly to the structural framework.
Additional Item:
FLEXIWALL Sound Barrier System
For enhanced soundproofing, you can opt for the FLEXIWALL Sound Barrier System. This system consists of 12 mm thick gypsum boards, plastered on both sides. The cavity is filled with 60 kg/m³ Rockwool insulation, delivering superior sound absorption and making it ideal for spaces that need higher levels of noise control.
